As Inside TV reports, Jason Mantzoukas, who plays Rafi on The League and who also starred in The Dictator, is set to guest star on Modern Family. Surprisingly, the 39-year-old actor will be introduced as Haley’s (Sarah Hyland) new boyfriend!

What happened to the loveable Dylan (Reid Ewing), you may ask? The one who brought you the hit “In the Moonlight (Do Me)”?

It looks like Jason Mantzoukas will be taking his place, for an episode anyway. It seems impossible that Dylan and Haley won’t get back together for at least one episode.

Mantzoukas will first play a jeans designer who is one of Haley’s co-workers but then turns into something more. The age difference between the two, with Haley only in her first year of college and Mantzoukas’s character probably pulling off mid-30s, is sure to be something Phil and Claire will be ecstatic about.

Mantzoukas should fit right in and guarantee some laughs, what with his experience on the semi-improv comedy show, The League (about a fantasy football league), and starring opposite to Sacha Baron Cohen in The Dictator. In addition, another fellow League cast mate will be guest starring on the show, Paul Scheer, who will play a Costco manager that runs up against Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Claire (Julie Bowen.)

Mantzoukas will appear on the tenth episode of Modern Family, which airs on ABC Wednesdays at 9/8c.
