The King just released its final trailer, and the last peek into the flick gives us a hearty mix of royal responsibility and Robert Pattinson.

The King looks like it’s going to be a pretty fantastic new period drama for Netflix. While the streamer released some previous looks at the film, the final trailer gives us a real peek into what is to come in The King and, more importantly, gives us a taste of Robert Pattinson’s French accent as he plays the Dauphin of France.

In the final look of The King before it hits Netflix and select theaters, we see Timothée Chalamet as King Henry V dealing with his new role as a monarch. While he spent his days drinking and generally shirking off responsibility, his sudden rise to the throne has given him a laundry list of duties and responsibilities, as well as the inherited enemies of his late father.

And while we’re so ready to see Chalamet rock this role (and, so far, the response from critics says he does indeed rock the role), we need to talk about something else. And that is, of course, Robert Pattinson.

In the internet discourse surrounding The King, while many have praised Chalamet in his powerhouse performance, there has been quite a lot of talk around Robert Pattinson as the Dauphin. Seeing him pop up in the trailer with those long, curly, blond locks caught a lot of us off guard in the best way. He looked absolutely badass as the Dauphin, but we didn’t really know what to expect from his voice.

Thankfully, in this new trailer, we get a taste of his French accent. And we have to admit, though we only hear him say a few things, like the incredibly chilling line, “The screams of your men shall lull me to sleep at night,” he does a pretty great job.

While we unfortunately only get a small peek into Pattinson’s French accent, we are pretty excited about what we got to hear in the final trailer. The King seems to be jam-packed with amazing performances, and we can’t wait to experience this amazing movie for ourselves.

Thankfully, we don’t have too much longer to see the movie. The King premieres in select theaters and on Netflix on November 1.
