In The 5th Wave we meet Cassie, a teen who learns to fight and survive. As the story unfolds we learn about the waves of the alien invasion and how they want to kill all humans. Cassie is alone and as far as she is concerned it is the safest way to be until she meets Evan Walker. The story is filled with suspension and tension as Cassie and the others navigate a world torn apart and attempt to keep humanity alive.
