The Hunger Games continues to set fire (sorry!) on the box-office, garnering a whopping $10.8 million on Monday alone. This sets the record for the highest-grossing, non-Holiday or Summer season Monday in box-office history!

As The Hollywood Reporter reports, this brings the total 4-day domestic gross for The Hunger Games to an astounding $163.4 million.

As we wrote over the weekend, as the film as gained an “A” CinemaScore, holdover is expected to be strong, not to mention the upcoming Easter and spring break holidays. We’ll continue to monitor the meteoric performance by The Hunger Games at the box-office. What do you think of the film’s performance?
