Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) is only of Katniss’ best friends and was pivotal in her survival as a child trying to support a family. When she comes back from the 74th Hunger Games his happiness to see her alive is dampened by her portrayal of romance with Peeta for the Capitol. Although they remain friends there’s a clear strain as Katniss can’t seem to sort out her feelings for either boy. Unfortunately, it’s this knowledge that President Snow uses against Katniss.

So far Lionsgate has released the first look at Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) and Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci). They also released Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson) with a surprisingly sober tone, as well as Cinna (Lenny Kravitz) in a new leather look. Of course we can’t forget the first look at Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in her wedding gown. Yesterday we got our first look at a sharply dressed Beetee (Jeffrey Wright) and fierce looking Johanna Mason (Jena Malone). Earlier today Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) was released in what looks like a matching outfit to Katniss’.
