As Harry Potter fans, we all know too well that the series is basically over. Deathly Hallows came out almost five years ago and the final movie came out last summer. Harry’s story has been told and “all was well”.

Despite the fact that the books and films are over, the Harry Potter fandom is still thriving on sites like Hypable. Between J.K. Rowling’s new book, Pottermore, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Harry Potter Studio Tour, and a never ending conversation about the books and movies, there is still so much excitement in the fandom.

So what is it that makes the Harry Potter fandom so special? What keeps us coming back, even after the series has ended?

Is it to stay updated with the most recent Potter news? Is it to participate in discussions about the books or movies? Is it the feeling of community with other people who love Harry Potter? Is it something else entirely?

What is your favorite part of the Harry Potter fandom? Which aspect(s) is/are most important to you? Why do you care about Harry Potter enough to continue coming on Hypable and connecting with other Potter fans even after it all has come to a close?

We all love Harry Potter. Let’s share why!
