Chidi is doing his best to help Michael learn a thing or two about what it means to be human on The Good Place, but we’re pretty sure these eight impossible things will come to fruition before that happens.
If you have been watching The Good Place (and you really, really should be), you know that in addition to trying to teach Eleanor, Jason, and Tahani how to be better people so that they can earn themselves a ticket out of Michael’s newest incarnation of the Bad Place, Chidi has also taken on a slightly larger challenge.
Chidi is trying so hard to teach ethics to Michael, an inhuman beast whose sole purpose is to design and execute perfect hellscapes, but it’s really just not seeming possible. Here are eight pop culture problems that would be easier to solve than teaching Michael what it means to be a good person.

If Chidi is able to teach Michael ethics, I’d say he’s more than earned a spot in the real Good Place. Cause that’s just crazy talk. Michael has spent eons creating hellscapes. It would be one hell of an achievement.
