The Game Awards 2019 leaned toward brawling game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and cinematic game Death Stranding.

The Game Awards are the place to see all that is worth playing in any given year. Starting in 2014, The Game Awards have earned their place as being the definitive awards show for video games.

While bigger awards such as Game of the Year are highly sought after, other categories, such as Best Fighting Game or Best Art Direction are quite the accomplishment.
