Get ready for a special night when The Following season 3, episodes 4 and 5 give us a double dose of Ryan, Mike, and Max.
Last week we watched as the FBI successfully stopped Neil from escaping after his cruel execution of Agent Jeffrey Clarke. After that, Mark and company are more motivated than ever to bring them and their lies to justice (or the crazy, cult, totally unjust brand of justice, anyway).
The cult (which is now less a cult and more a random collection of crazy people) is ready to bring the trouble to the entire FBI. Due to Mike Weston’s less-than-just execution of Lily Gray, Mark and company are determined to make sure that the world knows how Ryan, Mike and Max are hiding their lies.

We’re almost certain it’s not the one and only Joe Carroll, but as even he had mentors and helpers and assistance in his climb to the top of the list of worst serial killers, there is a myriad of people that could be pulling the strings. The worst part? We might not have even met them yet.
Dr. Arthur Strauss is the most obvious suspect (even though he too is stuck behind bars), but if there’s one thing we’ve learned from two seasons of watching Joe Carroll and his followers surprise us time and time again, it’s that the obvious answer isn’t necessarily the right one.
