Tonight’s The Following double feature has us more excited than ever. Sure the series just got cancelled, but we still have 4 hours left and we are ready to enjoy every second.

With two hours of TV ahead of us, we are expecting to know quite a bit about where next week’s two hour series finale will leave us, the dedicated fans and followers of Ryan Hardy and company. Surely a few hearts have broken over this news, but as there’s not much more we can do about the series’ cancellation, we can only tune in and support the show we love so much.

The trailer for this week’s double feature showed that there was a lot of danger coming the way of Mike Weston, as the last few glimpses of the trailer show Theo and Ryan with their respective hostages bartering for control of the exchange. Hopefully Ryan will be able to safely negotiate Mike out of Theo’s clutches, because we can’t imagine the last few episodes of The Following without him.

Check out the synopsis for the episode, and a clip that shows Theo, Penny, Daisy, and Mark/Luke all present and teamed up for a fight against the FBI. It’s definitely not looking good for Ryan Hardy and company.

We are also increasingly interested in what Tom is going to do in his incredibly precarious position. Our poll from last week showed that most of you think that he’ll try and hide the body and cover his tracks, but he won’t team up with the murderers, no matter what they have to offer.

The hope is that Tom is ultimately a good guy, but as we know next to nothing about his upbringing and past, we can do little more than that to reassure ourselves that he won’t sell Mike out to a group of merciless killers on The Following episodes 12 and 13.

Synopsis

“An increasingly reckless Ryan is going to continue his search for Theo as Mark and Daisy discover information that leads them closer to the FBI than ever and puts Mike in a dangerous situation. Then, a deadly deal is going to get made, but things won’t go as planned, and Ryan will make a decision for his future.”
