To celebrate the series premiere of The Flash, DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns posted two photos of Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold.
In these photos, we see Miller toting a freeze gun. Miller will debut in The Flash episode 4 as Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold.

“He’s just this guy who pulls jobs very carefully and certainly there’s something in the city and he has to change his game up,” Johns explains, referring to The Flash.
“[Snart] has to figure out how to deal with this new threat in Central City, to his way of life. It’s just all about him evolving, and with that, guns aren’t just going to do it, so he’s gotta have something a little stronger.”
“In the same way we talk about everybody, it’s the beginning, it’s Leonard Snart’s origins,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg adds. “He’s not the villain we see in the comics yet. We’re going to get there.”
In the comics, Captain Cold is the leader of the Flash’s rogues gallery, and Miller is set to reunite with his Prison Break costar Dominic Purcell, who will play Heatwave. The two will team up in episode 10.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), Jesse L. Martin (Joe West), Candice Patton (Iris West), Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells), Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow), Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon), Rick Cosnett (Eddie Thawne), and John Wesley Shipp (Henry Allen).
Recent casting additions include Greg Finley (Girder), Clancy Brown (General Wade Eiling), Kelly Frye (Plastique), and Robbie Amell (Ronnie Raymond).
