The Flash‘s Victor Garber answers some burning questions about his status for season 2 and his part in the upcoming spinoff, Legends of Tomorrow.

Since Victor Garber’s announcement as a cast member of the upcoming Arrow/The Flash spinoff, there have been questions swirling, such as what that meant for The Flash and where the other half of his character’s (Dr. Martin Stein) superhero alter ego, Ronnie Raymond (played by Robbie Amell), is. Garber is now clearing up a few things.

First, fans should not worry about the other half of Firestorm. Garber says, “Robbie and I will be joined on the first episode of the (next) season of The Flash, and then we’ll see what happens.”

Meanwhile, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Amell is also “expected” to appear in Legends of Tomorrow, just not as a series regular. Furthermore, Garber says, episodes of Arrow and The Flash will help set up Legends of Tomorrow and clear up any confusion.

Fans can also get excited about the possibility for more episodes of Legends. According to Garber, The CW isn’t “going to introduce a limited series. This isn’t HBO. They want the Full Monty.”

This is intriguing, as it seems to indicate that beyond its reported initial 15-episode order, Legends is likely to get a back-half order of episodes and possibly seasons beyond the first.

The logline for Legends of Tomorrow reads as follows:

“When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?”

That immortal threat, according to the trailer, will be Vandal Savage.

The cast will include Arrow‘s Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/Atom) and Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/Canary) and The Flash‘s Wentworth Miller (Leonard Snart/Captain Cold), Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory/Heat Wave), and Victor Garber (Dr. Martin Stein/half of Firestorm). Joining these established characters will be Ciara Renée (Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl), Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), and Franz Drameh (Jay Jackson/Mystery Hero).

The series is expected to have a 2015-16 mid-season premiere on The CW.
