A new Flash season 2 poster features Barry Allen’s Flash appearing to be struck by lightning.

The Flash star Grant Gustin tweeted the poster, which features a pained Barry in his updated suit and a bolt of lightning, earlier today.

Check it out below:

This is the third poster we’ve seen for The Flash season 2. The first two featured Barry and a tease for Jay Garrick respectively. We also had our first look at season 2 with an episode still, featuring the main cast in S.T.A.R. Labs.

Meanwhile, the trailer for The Flash season 2 introduces Jay Garrick, the concept of other worlds, and Big Bad speedster Zoom.

According to Gustin, when The Flash season 2 picks up, “We find Barry dealing with some extra tension. He knows that Eddie was ultimately the hero that stopped Wells in the finale and saved everybody. We find him struggling with his role as a hero. He’s a lone wolf, working alone.”

Additionally, where season 1 was about time travel, season 2 will focus on Earth-Two, “and the concept of the multiverse, and the concept of doppelgängers,” says EP Andrew Kreisberg.

“We’ve been having a lot of fun with that and getting glimpses of Earth-Two probably sooner than people would’ve thought.” And while the show “still has those characters and that camaraderie” that made season 1 great, “our villains are coming from a brand new place and we’re dealing with different concepts, and it’s just really exciting.”

The Flash season 2 premieres Tuesday, October 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on The CW.
