The Flash will not air a new episode tonight, Tuesday, November 24.

After last week featured Barry recovering from his showdown with Zoom as well as the return of Gorilla Grodd, The Flash is taking a week off for Thanksgiving. However, there will still be some Flash on tonight, as the season 2 premiere will re-air at 9:00 p.m. on The CW.

The Flash will return on Tuesday, December 1 with the first half of the Flash/Arrow crossover that will set up Legends of Tomorrow.

The Flash season 2, episode 7, “Gorilla Warfare,” focused on Barry’s recovery from his physical and psychological wounds after his fight with Zoom. While his body was healing remarkably fast, he struggled with flashbacks and felt insecure about his ability to protect Central City. When Barry wouldn’t open up to his found family in Central City, Iris called in Henry Allen, who helped Barry push through his pain.

Meanwhile, Gorilla Grodd returned. Lonely and angry, Grodd kidnapped Caitlin to help create more gorillas like him. The S.T.A.R. Labs team plus Harrison Wells helped rescue her, and they eventually sent Grodd to Gorilla City in Earth-2. And Cisco and Kendra went on their first date, though Cisco vibed Kendra’s identity as Hawkgirl off of her.

So, what we can we expect moving forward? First, there is the two-night crossover with Arrow. Watch a promo for the crossover below:

The episode following the crossover, “Running to Stand Still,” will be mid-season finale. The synopsis for the episode reads:

“MARK HAMILL, WENTWORTH MILLER AND LIAM MCINTYRE RETURN; KEIYNAN LONSDALE JOINS THE CAST AS WALLY WEST — When Mark Mardon AKA The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) returns to break Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and James Jesse AKA The Trickster (guest star Mark Hamill) out of Iron Heights, Barry (Grant Gustin) must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) meet Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale). Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Andrew Kreisberg (#209).”
