New episodes of The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow will not air tonight, February 14.

After Team Flash took down a metahuman they couldn’t touch and the Legends stopped Rip Hunter from murdering George Washington, the two shows will take a week off in honor of Valentine’s Day.

A special titled Tough Mudder: The Challenge Within will air at 8:00 p.m. while an encore of last week’s episode of The Flash, “Untouchable,” will air at 9:00 p.m. Both shows will return with new episodes next week.

On The Flash 3×12, “Untouchable,” the team tried to stop a metahuman whose powers could destroy anything he touched. He was targeting cops who arrested him in Flashpoint, which put Joe in danger. When Kid Flash defended Joe, however, the meta targeted Iris and poisoned her instead.

Meanwhile, Wally struggled to learn how to phase through matter. Barry’s teaching wasn’t sinking in for him, but he was able to do it in the final showdown. And Iris revealed her impending death to Joe.

On Legends of Tomorrow 2×11 “Turncoat,” the team learned that the Legion of Doom scrambled Rip’s brain and turned him into a villain. He systematically targeted each member of the team while they tried to save George Washington.

Though the team eventually overcame Rip’s obstacles and put the Revolutionary War back on track, Rip retrieved the fragment of the Spear of Destiny the Legends had been safeguarding.

The synopsis for The Flash 3×13, “Attack on Gorilla City,” reads:

BARRY AND TEAM TRAVEL TO GORILLA CITY AND FACE GRODD – When Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) informs the team that her father (Tom Cavanagh) has been abducted, Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Julian (Tom Felton) voyage to Earth-2 on a rescue mission to save Harry from Gorilla City. As they trek through the forest, Barry and the team are immediately captured and brought to Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov). Grodd tells them he needs their help to stop Solovar (voiced by Keith David), the leader of Gorilla City, as Solovar wants to invade Earth-1. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) hit the streets to stop a metahuman that can control gravity, with H.R. and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) guiding them from S.T.A.R. Labs. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & David Kob (#313).
