The Fault in Our Stars movie will test five actors for the role of Gus this weekend opposite Shailene Woodley who has been cast as Hazel Grace.

Brenton Thwaites, Nat Wolff, Nick Robinson, Noah Silver and Ansel Elgort will test for the coveted part in the next couple of days, reports Variety.

Brenton Thwawites will be seen in Disney’s live action Maleficent which stars Angelina Jolie in the lead role. He will play the Young Prince. Interestingly, he tested for the role of Four in Divergent, but that part eventually went to Theo James.

Nat Wolff starred in The Fault in Our Stars director Josh Boone’s Stuck in Love as Rusty (in theaters this summer).

Nick Robinson starred in Disney’s television show Melissa & Joey as Rider.

Noah Silver can currently be seen in Showtime’s The Borgias.

Finally, Ansel Elgort has the role of Caleb in Divergent which is currently shooting in Chicago.

Two of these actors stand out to us for their aforementioned work. First is Borgens who may have an advantage because he’s already worked with Boone on Stuck in Love. Second is Elgort, who is currently working with Woodley on Divergent. The pair already have some chemistry together because of their time filming so far (they play brother and sister) which he could use to his advantage when testing for Gus.

The Fault in Our Stars movie may shoot as early as this year and is based on the book of the same name by John Green. A release date for the movie has not yet been set.

Thanks, Variety.

UPDATE: John Green took to Twitter to address the report. He noted that Variety screwed up Gus’ last name, and perhaps sarcastically suggested we should trust them. Regardless of the blunder, we trust Variety’s sources.
