The Fault in Our Stars casting is a hot topic among fans since news has been increasing over the last few weeks. Earlier this week we asked you who should play Hazel and now it is time to chime in on her counter part Augustus.

Wyck Godfrey, the film’s producer, had made some remarks about the status of the adaptation last week. “Dare I say, [The Fault in Our Stars script] is as good if not better than the book. It will be the best movie of next year if we can get our butts in gear,” he said on the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 red carpet.
 
 

David Lambert

David Lambert was born in Louisiana. He has also lived in England,Taiwan,Texas, and Georgia. He has been doing theater for many years. His theater experience includes Mr. Tumnus in Narnia, Mayor in Seussical, Caringford in Little Princess, and Phao in Jungle Book. David is a relative unknown with his most recent work being in TV movies.

Douglas Booth

Douglas Booth was born in England and at age twelve decided he wanted to be an actor. Booth has been very open about his struggle with dyslexia which lead him acting. Plus understanding that struggle would help him build the character of Augustus. Booth has starred opposite Matt Smith in Christopher and His Kind and can soon be seen playing Romeo in the remake of Romeo and Juliet.

Drew Roy

Drew Roy is an actor who became active in the big screen beginning 2006. He first appeared in Curse of Pirate Death, followed by the movie Blink. His most notable movie is Secretariat in which he played Seth Hancock. In 2009, he played Travis Benjamin on Lincoln Heights, Griffin on iCarly and Jesse on Hannah Montana. At present, he is one of the cast members of the science fiction series Falling Skies.

Daniel Sharman

Daniel Sharman was born in London. He began working as an actor at The Royal Shakespeare Company before going on to train for three years at The London Academy of Dramatic Art in 2007. After which he performed in many theatrical productions in London and Europe. Needless to say Daniel has a strong acting background. Daniel was most recently seen in The Immortals on the big screen.

Thomas Mann

Thomas Mann is a Portland, Oregon native who moved to Dallas, Texas when he was two. Thomas has been in TV shows iCarly and The Middle as well as the movies Project X and Funsize. Thomas will be more visible in 2013 with three films, As Cool as I Am (with Claire Danes and James Marsden!), Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and the much-awaited film, Beautiful Creatures, being released.
