The Expendables 3 will feature one of the largest ensemble casts of the year, and 16 character posters for the cast have just been released.
The cast of the the third installment in the franchise is bigger than ever. It includes Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, Dolph Lundgren, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kellan Lutz, Terry Crews, Kelsey Grammer, Ronda Rousey, Victor Ortiz, Randy Couture, and Glen Powell. And those are just the ones with posters.
These posters debuted this morning on Collider, JoBlo, Coming Soon, and IGN.
We have yet to see much promotion for The Expendables 3, but as it’s not set to hit theaters until August, that shouldn’t come as a big surprise. What we have seen is the 16 actors above walking slowly in the first teaser trailer:

In The Expendables 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.
