Phillipa Gregory’s best selling series titled The Cousins War, based on the most promient women during ‘The War of the Roses,’ is going to be turned into a 10-part historical drama.

Gregory, whose notable works include The Other Boleyn Girl (also a 2008 movie with the same name starring Natalie Portman) confirmed the rumors on her website. She gave a detailed synopsis of the overrall series/story arc and also cited various actors/actresses who would be starring in the show. Perhaps most notable of all was James Frain who is playing Kingmaker Warwick (he also played Thomas Cromwell in the hit series The Tudors) and Academy Award nominated Janet McTeer who will be starring as ‘The White Queen’ Elizabeth Woodville’s mother, Jacquetta.
