The Counselor starring Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, and more, dropped its first teaser trailer today. Check out the clip for Ridley Scott’s upcoming thriller.

The Russian language version of this trailer first found it’s way online this morning, leaving U.S. fans in anticipation for an English teaser. Just a few hours later, we got what we wanted.

The Counselor tells the story of a lawyer (Fassbender) who finds himself mixed up in a drug trafficking ring that includes some shady characters played by the likes of Pitt, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, and Cameron Diaz. The cast is rounded out by John Leguizamo, Rosie Perez, Goran Visnjic and Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer.

While it only lasts 44 seconds, the teaser gives us a small glimpse of the all-star cast, an intriguing plot, and, of course, Javier Bardem’s hair.

Pitt’s voice is heard over most of the clip, as well as Javier Bardem’s, who looks to be ready to add another iconic villain to his repertoire. Pitt is also playing something of a villain in the film, which we haven’t seen him do yet.

From the looks and sounds of things, Fassbender’s character is in for a scary ride, going up against some high-stakes players.

This is Ridley Scott’s first directing project since Prometheus, which also starred Fassbender. Cormac McCarthy (No Country for Old Men, The Road) penned the film, which comes out later this year.

With Bardem’s track record as a McCarthy villain, (Bardem played killing machine, Anton, in No Country for Old Men) we’re excited to see where he takes this one.

The Counselor is scheduled to hit theaters on Oct. 25.
