Photos from this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory have surfaced online, featuring a cello, more than one guest star, and Sheldon’s opinion of himself. Minor spoilers ahead.

A tantalizing bunch of new stills have been released from “The Egg Salad Equivalency,” which rings in the new year for The Big Bang Theory this week on CBS. The photos preview scenes in an office of accusation, an awesome set of Jenga, and… is Penny wearing glasses? Check out the photos below!

“Sheldon Cooper’s Council of Ladies”? Goodness gracious. Is Sheldon actually seeking advice from the likes of Penny and Bernadette? (Or does the back of that shirt say “Bazinga”?) We can’t help but wonder how this “council” – or perhaps the counsel it gives – is connected to Sheldon’s later run-in with the University’s head of Employee Relations, played by Regina King. We’re also itching to learn just why Penny is sporting those terrific specs, and why Leonard is camped outside her doorway with a cello. Could it have something to do with Sheldon’s assistant Alex, as suggested by this recent promo?

The official summary for “The Egg Salad Equivalency” says:

Sheldon gets accused of sexual harassment at the University and winds up getting Leonard, Raj and Wolowitz in trouble.

Hopefully not terrible trouble. Next week, the boys of The Big Bang Theory are scheduled to head off to what appears to be a convention (at last!) in “The Bakersfield Expedition.”

What are your expectations for ‘The Egg Salad Equivalency’?
