Three central stars of the CBS comedy have signed big new deals, bringing The Big Bang Theory season 8 closer to its genesis.

It’s not just the Bang Theory that’s big anymore. Deadline reported today that the contract dispute between Warner Bros. TV and lead actors on The Big Bang Theory has been partially resolved, with the comedy trio landing major salary increases.

Lead actors Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting have signed three-year deals for a rumored $1 million per episode, in addition to undisclosed bonuses that may reach upward of $90 million each. Meanwhile, contracts remain unsigned for actors Kunal Nayar and Simon Helberg, who are negotiating together to raise their pay-per-episode salaries beyond the current $100,000. In spite of a complicated negotiating process, Deadline reports that the actors are rumored to be close to reaching a deal.

Update: Co-stars Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar have signed new contracts and production is set to resume today, August 6.

The Big Bang Theory season 8 was scheduled to begin production on July 30, but the contract dispute forced Warner Bros. TV to delay. A table read of the hour-long season premiere episode is now scheduled for Wednesday. If production begins at that time, The Big Bang Theory season 8 should be able to meet their scheduled 24-episode run.

Executive producer Bill Prady was the only member of production to address the resolved dispute via social media – albeit obliquely. As the news of the deals broke, Prady took to Twitter to express his relief.

Deadline also shared that Parsons’, Galecki’s and Cuoco-Sweeting’s deals reportedly made allowances for a potential 11th season of The Big Bang Theory. The series was renewed for seasons eight, nine, and 10 this past Spring, and this new information indicates that Warner Bros. and CBS remain invested in the future of the top-rated geeky comedy.

The Big Bang Theory season 8 is scheduled to premiere on Monday, Sept. 22nd at 8:00 p.m.
