New sneak peeks from The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 5 tease big plans for both the guys and girls of the geeky gang.
Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj will make plans to change the world in The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 5, but it seems that their grand ideas will go downhill from there. Two new sneak peeks from the episode, titled “The Focus Attenuation,” portray the guys’ big plans, and offer a look at Amy and Bernadette getting liquored up in Vegas.
The first clip features what we suspect may be the pinnacle of Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard’s productivity in “The Focus Attenuation.”
But hey, it’s true. The Social Network was pretty awesome – though we wouldn’t have pegged Sheldon as a Fincher fan.
The second sneak peek from The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 5 offers a kind of adorable look at Amy and Bernadette getting ridiculously drunk – and marginally inappropriate – in Las Vegas.
It seems that the ladies have been ditched by that perpetual hottie Penny, who is actually studying for work while the girls are partying. We are shocked and impressed by this development, but we can’t deny that it seems unwise to leave Bernadette and Amy to their own devices in Las Vegas.
…though it will undeniably be hilarious.
The promo and stills for “The Focus Attenuation” offer more information about both girls’ and guys’ adventures (such as they are) and the synopsis for The Big Bang Theory season 8, episode 5 fills in a few more details.
“Amy and Bernadette accuse Penny of being a “buzzkill” after she gets an email from work during their Vegas weekend,” CBS says. “Meanwhile, the guys try to invent something cool, but only come up with new ways to procrastinate.”
