A new promo has been released for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8, and it looks like Leonard is risking his life to prove a point to Sheldon.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8 will air on Nov. 14, and a new preview for this week’s episode may just be giving us angoraphobia.

(It’s a thing. Look it up.)

It looks like the episode, titled “The Itchy Brain Simulation,” will focus on a bet between Sheldon and Leonard that leaves the latter bedecked in the Sweater of Red Death. Because it’s probably part of the Roommate Agreement or something. Check out the livid preview for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8 right here:

Evidently, everyone is aware that Leonard has begun a “danse macabre” with Sheldon and the sweater – except for Leonard. It will be pretty funny to see how long his pride holds out against the woeful itch of all that wool. And to make matters worse, frankly the color does nothing for him.

Leonard won’t be the only member of the geeky gang engaged in a painful activity in The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8. As still photos from the episode indicate, Kate Micucci will reprise her role as Raj’s recently-ex-girlfriend Lucy in “The Itchy Brain Simulation.”

The official summary for the episode gives us a hint at how Lucy will come back into the story.

Leonard tries to keep Sheldon from overreacting when a past mistake comes to light, but Sheldon punishes Leonard by making him walk a mile in his shoes. Meanwhile, Penny confronts Raj’s ex-girlfriend, Lucy.

Hopefully, no one will suffer any lasting damage (emotional or otherwise) from the events of The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8. “The Itchy Brain Simulation” will air on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.

Will Leonard escape the sweater of death on ‘The Big Bang Theory’?
