New stills released from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8 hint at sweater-weather and the return of an old flame.
The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8 will air next Thursday, Nov. 14. Still photos released from the episode, titled “The Itchy Brain Simulation,” make it clear that the show won’t be resting on its laurels after this week’s hilarious episode featuring Bob Newhart and Bill Nye.
The photos for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8 indicate that more than one character will have to deal with memories from the past that may prove unpleasant. There is also a massive red sweater, which may or may not be connected to said unpleasant memories.

As is clear from the stills, The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8 features the return of Kate Micucci in the role of Raj’s ex-girlfriend Lucy. Though the two seemed to be a sweetly dysfunctional match, Lucy decided that she couldn’t handle the pressure and broke up with Raj in the finale of season 6.
Though Raj was devastated by Lucy’s decision, his distress did enable him to talk with women while sober. It will be interesting to see how Raj will react to Penny seeing Lucy – and whether Lucy’s reappearance means that Kate Micucci will once again become a regular face on The Big Bang Theory.
The main plot line of “The Itchy Brain Simulation” seems to involve Sheldon taking some sort of revenge on Leonard. (If he makes him wear that sweater, we’ll consider this reprisal highly cruel and deeply unusual.) The official summary for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 8 says:
Leonard tries to keep Sheldon from overreacting when a past mistake comes to light, but Sheldon punishes Leonard by making him walk a mile in his shoes. Meanwhile, Penny confronts Raj’s ex-girlfriend, Lucy.
