New stills released from “The Proton Displacement” portray the coincidental return of Professor Proton into the lives of the geeky gang. A sweet behind-the-scenes photo has also been released from the set of The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 7, which shows that though they may play antagonistic scientists, Bob Newhart and Bill Nye got along just fine on the set of The Big Bang Theory.

The official summary for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 7 hints that it isn’t only Nye and Newhart who will be set at odds in “The Proton Displacement” though.

Sheldon feels slighted when Professor Proton seeks advice from Leonard instead of him, and he seeks revenge by befriending a rival science TV host, Bill Nye. Meanwhile, Raj gets jealous when Howard crashes “girls’ night.”

Sheldon versus Professor Proton? Raj versus Howard? Looks like this experiment might just explode before the episode is out – but hopefully it will be hilarious in the process.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 7, “The Proton Displacement,” will air on Thursday Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
