A new promo has been released for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 7, making no secret of the episode’s two exciting guest stars.

Though CBS’s top-rated comedy took a break last week, it looks The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 7 will be worth the wait. The episode, titled “The Proton Displacement,” will mark the return of television legend Bob Newhart to the show in the role of Leonard and Sheldon’s beloved TV scientist, Professor Proton. (He has a real name, but we have no idea what it is.)

A new promo for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 7 gives us a hint at the tensions that may percolate in “The Proton Displacement,” as well a new glimpse at another very special guest star.

It’s great to see Bob Newhart back in action as Professor Proton – clearly, he can still drop one-liners with the best of them. And of course, seeing the real-life TV scientist Bill Nye the Science Guy appear on The Big Bang Theory is like something out of a wonderful time-warp.

But don’t mess with the bow tie, Professor Proton. We’re serious.

Sheldon feels slighted when Professor Proton seeks advice from Leonard instead of him, and he seeks revenge by befriending a rival science TV host, Bill Nye. Meanwhile, Raj gets jealous when Howard crashes “girls’ night.”

The question we are left to ask is: Who is more dangerous, a jealous Raj or a pissed-off Sheldon?
