A new set of stills from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 6 suggest scientific snafus this coming week.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 6 will air this Thursday at 8 p.m. Still photos released from the episode show Sheldon celebrating – and then shrinking away from – his recent scientific successes. The whole grand controversy will play out in “The Romance Resonance,” along with amorous attempts from Penny.

Along with Sheldon’s equation-decked whiteboard (we have missed that whiteboard) it’s interesting to see what looks like some kind of chamber music performance in store this week. Leonard’s cello will clearly be making a comeback, with Raj strumming along on the ukulele. Is it too much to hope that Amy’s harp will feature as well?

The official summary for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 6 says nothing about Amy, alas.

Sheldon’s major scientific breakthrough makes him feel like a fraud. Meanwhile, Howard’s romantic gesture to Bernadette causes Penny to step up her game with Leonard.

Not pictured in the still photos from “The Romance Resonance” are the legendary scientists credited in the press release for the episode. Albert Einstein will feature this in this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory (played by Andrew Hill Newman) along with a fellow named Archimedes (John Apicella.)
