The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 5, “The Workplace Proximity” airs tonight on CBS. Check out a preview and everything else you need to know!

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 5 will air tonight on CBS. The episode, titled “The Workplace Proximity,” will focus on Sheldon dealing with the fact that Amy has been offered a research opportunity in his university.

Last week on The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon tried to get back at Amy for pointing out the story flaws in Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Amy cut him off at the pass, trying to make sure that their relationship doesn’t dissolve into a cycle of revenge. Meanwhile, Leonard learned the price of emotionally manipulating Penny, and Raj and Stuart gave online dating a try.

Growing relationships look like they will be a major subject of this episode as well. The official summary for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 5 says:

Sheldon must decide how much “Amy time” is too much after she takes a job at his university. Meanwhile, Howard finds himself sleeping on Raj’s couch after a fight with Bernadette.

A sneak peek from “The Workplace Proximity” hints that Sheldon will be fairly amenable to the situation at first – though that probably won’t last very long.

Stills from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 5 suggest that Sheldon’s hang-ups will soon cause friction between him and Amy, and also give us a peek at Howard and Bernadette’s issues from this episode. There are also orange goggles and blue balloons, so… it’s probably not all bad!

The promo for tonight’s episode summarizes the difficulties of communication when your boyfriend in Sheldon Cooper. (Sorry Amy.)

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 5, “The Workplace Proximity,” will air tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS.

What do you think will go down between Sheldon and Amy?
