The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 3 will air this Thursday on CBS. Last week’s two premiere episodes broke the show’s all-time ratings record, bringing in an amazing 20.44 million viewers. And this week’s episode looks like a hilarious follow-up to that incredible achievement.
The episode, titled “The Scavenger Vortex,” will take the geeky gang on (surprise!) a scavenger hunt. And in true Big Bang Theory fashion, it looks like things are going to get just a little bit out of hand.
The official episode summary for “The Scavenger Vortex” specifies:
When the entire gang competes in a scavenger hunt designed by Raj, it brings out the best – and worst – in everyone.
(And by “everyone,” we’re pretty sure they mean “mostly Sheldon.”)

The teams Raj has cooked up to divide his friends also look like potential for hilarity. Amy and Howard and Leonard and Bernadette definitely make for odd couples, and we can’t wait to see how they run through Raj’s ridiculous race. Sheldon and Amy, of course, are old pros at working together… but is it possible that any of their recent tensions might flare up again when they are compelled to hunt together? (And then there’s the burning question of who turned Raj into an evil, genius, robe-wearing millionaire?)
