Sheldon is not pleased with new developments in a new sneak peek from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 24.

Change is in the air, and Sheldon will be having none of it when The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 24 airs tomorrow night on CBS. The episode, titled “The Status Quo Combustion,” will focus on Leonard and Sheldon grappling over the changes that may come as a result of Leonard and Penny’s engagement.

A new sneak peek from “The Status Quo Combustion” also indicates that the impending nuptials are not Sheldon’s only problem.

In the new sneak peek, Sheldon vents to Amy about his anger at the University, who are strongly encouraging him to return to studying string theory. Unfortunately for the University, Sheldon went through a painful break-up with string theory several weeks ago.

Unfortunately for Amy, she has to listen to Sheldon rant. But since this is the same Amy who voluntarily entered into a contractually-designated relationship with Sheldon, she knows how to turn the situation to her advantage. (Or give a good try, anyway.)

The preview and still photos from “The Status Quo Combustion” highlight Sheldon’s frustration with the shifting sands of his future. The official synopsis for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 24 also offers a hint at what the rest of the geeky gang will be up to in Thursday night’s season finale.

Sheldon is forced to confront an uncertain future and considers a major move. Meanwhile, Raj and Emily take it to the next level, and Mrs. Wolowitz’s injury is a major headache for Howard and Bernadette.

All in all, it looks like change is gonna come for the whole group – whether Sheldon wants it to, or not.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 24, “The Status Quo Combustion,” will air tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
