A new sneak peek and stills from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 14, show a geek icon making Sheldon’s night.
Geeky dreams will come true on The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 14. The episode, titled “The Convention Conundrum,” will see Sheldon make an impressive recovery from a serious Comic-Con disappointment – much to the surprise of Leonard and the guys.
The crux of this rebound is revealed in the sneak peek from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 14, which features the legendary actor James Earl Jones. Jones, of course, provided the voice of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy – a fact that is employed immediately in the new clip.
In the sneak peek from “The Convention Conundrum,” Sheldon approaches Jones at a restaurant. Though the actor initially appears annoyed by Sheldon and his presumed obsession with Star Wars, Jones confesses that he likes Star Wars too, and invites Sheldon to join him.
(Also, Leonard is a weenie; as the James Earl Jones sayeth, so must it be.)
New stills have also been released from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 14, which offer a glimpse at Sheldon’s passage to James Earl Jones, as well as a look at what the ladies will be up to in “The Convention Conundrum.”

It looks like Sheldon is making quite a list of potential “Sheldon-Con” guests; funnily enough, Leonard Nemoy and Bill Nye are among the few remaining names.
The official synopsis for “The Convention Conundrum” sheds light on the origins of Sheldon-Con… though let’s face it, it was probably inevitable.
After the guys can’t get Comic-Con tickets, Sheldon tries to hold his own convention and winds up spending a wild night with James Earl Jones. Meanwhile, the girls see if they can act like “grown-ups.”
The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 14, “The Convention Conundrum” will air on Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
