The promo for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 14, makes no secret of the fact that the legendary actor James Earl Jones will be guest starring in “The Convention Conundrum.” (Fare thee well, oh Forth Wall!) Among many other accomplishments, Jones was the unforgettable voice behind Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy.

But according to the official synopsis, Sheldon’s path to James Earl Jones begins on the dark side.

After the guys can’t get Comic-Con tickets, Sheldon tries to hold his own convention and winds up spending a wild night with James Earl Jones. Meanwhile, the girls see if they can act like “grown-ups.”

Seriously, not being able to get tickets to Comic-Con may be worse than seeing Alderaan explode.

As was recently reported, Jones will not be the only Star Wars alumni to appear in “The Convention Conundrum.” Actress Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) is also set to appear in Thursday night’s star-studded episode.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 14, “The Convention Conundrum,” will air on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
