Happiness is short-lived and a returning giant arrives in new stills for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 13.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 13 will air this Thursday at 8:00 p.m., and stills released from the upcoming episode hint at changes ahead for the geeky gang. The episode, titled “The Occupation Reconfiguration,” will focus on Sheldon coping with temporary joblessness as Penny deals with a more drastic form of unemployment.

A few guest stars pop up in the still photos, in addition to those suspicious asanas. Josh Peck (of Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh) will appear as Jesse, the owner of a comic book store that rivals glum Stuart for Bernadette’s patronage. Meanwhile, Ian Scott Rudolph will return as comic book store regular Captain Sweatpants – though he makes a striking sight in the unusual setting of Amy’s laboratory.

The preview for The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 13 focuses on the developments looming in Leonard and Penny’s relationship. The relatively tranquil couple hit a rough patch in last week’s episode when an emotionally distressed Penny proposed to Leonard – and he turned her down.

The official synopsis for “The Occupation Reconfiguration” touches on the many character balls that will be juggled in this week’s episode.

Sheldon tries to relax after he is forced to take a vacation. Meanwhile, Leonard struggles to be supportive of Penny after she quits her job, and Bernadette seeks Stuart’s help in replacing one of Howard’s comic books.

From Bernadette’s upcoming exploits in geekery to Leonard and Penny’s emotional turmoil, it seems like “The Occupation Recalibration” is sure to shake things up – and provide plenty of laughs in the process.
