Though Sheldon is the one stuck in limbo, it looks like Leonard and Penny’s lives might just get turned upside-down tonight on The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 13. The episode, titled “The Occupation Recalibration,” will focus on Sheldon’s frustration after being put on a mandatory leave from the University, but will also deal with the ramifications from last week’s episode.

The official synopsis for “The Occupation Recalibration” says:

Sheldon tries to relax after he is forced to take a vacation. Meanwhile, Leonard struggles to be supportive of Penny after she quits her job, and Bernadette seeks Stuart’s help in replacing one of Howard’s comic books.

Last week on The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon tried to be funny and Penny suffered a serious disappointment when her bit part in NCIS wound up on the cutting-room floor. Tipsy and moved by Leonard’s attempts to comfort her, Penny popped the question – only to be left furious and hurt when Leonard gently turned her down.
