CBS has shared a new promo for this week Valentine’s Day-themed episode of The Big Bang Theory, which hints at, well… Valentine’s Day. Minor spoilers ahead.

A new preview has been released for Thursday night’s episode of The Big Bang Theory, titled “The Tangible Affection Proof.” As the episode will air on Valentine’s Day, it’s only appropriate (and possibly contractually necessary?) that the storyline focus on Cupid’s favorite misfires in Pasadena. Check out the promo right here:

Ninjas! Vice-like hugs! Romantic dinners! Pizza! (And is it just us, or has The Big Bang Theory been upping its CGI budget?) Too bad we didn’t get a glimpse of Raj, who is set to meet someone special – and with excellent timing – this week, or a hint of what Howard and Bernadette are up to on their first wedded Valentine. (Though on second thought, maybe we don’t want to see that…) For a few more hints, check out these still photos from the episode.

CBS says of “The Tangible Affection Proof”:

While the guys try to give their significant others the perfect Valentine’s Day, Raj and Stuart throw a “lonely people” party at the comic book store.

Margo Harshman will reprise her role as Sheldon’s attractive (and beleaguered) assistant Alex in the episode. Kate Micucci will appear for the first time as Lucy, a new variable in Raj’s lack-of-love life.

Next week, 6×17 “The Monster Isolation” will air. CBS says:

After a terrible date, Koothrappali vows to never leave his apartment. Meanwhile, Penny actually impresses Sheldon with her acting skills.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Whose affection will be proven this Valentine’s Day?
