Playing off the mild frustration of a long stretch of reruns, CBS has released a new preview for this week’s upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory – and promised more to come!

A new preview has been released for this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory, entitled “The Closure Alternative.” The promo gives us a hint at a distinctly unhappy (and vividly descriptive) Sheldon, and promises fans four straight weeks of brand-new episodes of The Big Bang Theory. Check out the preview right here:

Sheldon may not have issues with closure, but The Big Bang Theory definitely does not; these upcoming four episodes will bring the show’s record-breaking sixth season to a close. But fans of the geeky comedy can rest easily – The Big Bang Theory was renewed for season 7 way back in 2011, and will be back on our screens this fall.

In the meantime, you can check out these still photos from “The Closure Alternative” for a few more hints at what’s to come this Thursday. And the official summary for the episode says:

Sheldon feels lost after one of his favorite TV shows gets canceled too soon and Amy tries to help him get over his compulsive need for closure. Meanwhile, Raj discovers a secret about his new love interest, Lucy.

The Big Bang Theory airs at 8 p.m. on CBS.

Will Sheldon achieve closure on this week’s ‘Big Bang Theory’?
