Newly released photos from next week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory catch Sheldon and Amy in an uncharacteristic spot of subterfuge.
Several new stills have hit the web from “The Parking Spot Escalation,” which airs next week on CBS. The images are almost definitely culled from Sheldon’s struggles with Howard over his university parking spot; the conflict appears to be the central plot of the episode, and we’re especially happy to see Amy Farrah Fowler right in the thick of things with her bemusing boyfriend.

It looks like Sheldon is going to extreme lengths (even for him) to preserve the Cooper-integrity of “his spot.” It’s hard to say how he’ll justify these attempts, as Sheldon famously refuses to take up driving, but perhaps the idea that something that belongs to Sheldon is becoming something that belongs to non-PhD Wolowitz is just too much for the fixated physicist.
We also can’t help but feel horribly bad for Leonard, who is clearly about to get sucked into one of Sheldon’s nuttiest debates to date. If Leonard is smart, he’ll steer clear and let Bernadette step in and defend Howard’s honor (such as it is). To grab a phrase from Shakespeare, “though she be but little, she is fierce”!
CBS’s official summary for “The Parking Spot Escalation” says:
When the University reassigns Sheldon’s parking spot to Wolowitz, their fight affects the whole gang.
And on Dec. 6, “The Fish Guts Displacement” will air.
Sheldon tries to nurse a sick Amy back to health, while Wolowitz prepares for an upcoming fishing trip with his father-in-law.
