Photos from next week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory have surfaced online, revealing a Kripke, an action-figure, and at least one probable “Aww!” moment. Minor spoilers ahead.

A small crop of new stills have been released from “The Cooper/Kripke Inversion,” which will air next Thursday on CBS. The photos gives us a glimpse of what looks to be a distinctly unhappy Sheldon, as well as a confident-looking Barry Kripke, but little indication of the source of this disparity… unless that whiteboard has something to do with it? Check out the photos right here:

As intriguing (and sure to be hilarious) as the Kripke plotline is guaranteed to be, we have to admit that our favorite shot is definitely that one of Amy Farrah Fowler with her arms around Sheldon. Sheldon hasn’t needed much comforting over the course of their relationship, but it’s great to see Amy stepping in to support Sheldon when the cruel Kripkes of the world have their way. (Not to mention the fact that Sheldon is totally letting Amy hug him, so… milestone?)

Our second favorite shot, it must be said, is that one of Bernadette holding Howard’s action figure. At first glance she seems thrilled, but take a closer look and you can see the beginnings of horror dawning on her face.

“The Cooper/Kripke Inversion” will air on Jan. 31st. CBS’s official summary for the episode says:

Sheldon is forced to work with Barry Kripke and faces a crisis of confidence. Meanwhile, Howard and Raj spend $1,000 on action figures of themselves.

And the episode set to air the following week will be titled “The Spoiler Alert Segmentation”. (Appropriately enough, the source link contains filming spoilers.)

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS.

What are you looking forward to in “The Cooper/Kripke Inversion”?
