Two new clips have been released from this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory, previewing highs and lows for an intermittently lucky Leonard. Minor spoilers ahead.

SpoilerTV has shared two new clips from “The Egg Salad Equivalency,” which airs Jan. 3 on CBS. The first snippet reveals that the previously-unnoticed crush which Sheldon’s attractive assistant Alex has been nursing for Leonard is clearly unnoticed no longer. Check out the clip below:

It’s reassuring to see that Leonard does not appear interested in Alex herself, and that he is so comfortable asserting his love for Penny… but we can’t help but wonder if Penny is going to feel the same way, especially as she has exhibited jealousy of Alex in the past.

(Also… Ryan Gosling, Raj? Leonard wishes.)

The second clip shows Leonard, Raj, and Howard in a waiting room, presumably connected to the office of Regina King’s character Mrs. Cole, head of the university’s Employee Relations department.

Yet another reason to be thankful for Bernadette, guys. Hopefully Howard has changed his ringtone since those bygone days of darkness and groping.

CBS’ official summary says:

Sheldon gets accused of sexual harassment at the University and winds up getting Leonard, Raj and Wolowitz in trouble.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 p.m.

Do you think it’s the egg salad getting Leonard in hot water?
