Sheldon talks to Adam Nimoy about Spock, but finds himself facing more personal questions when The Big Bang Theory 9×07 airs tonight.
The episode, titled “The Spock Resonance,” will also put the focus on changes in Howard and Bernadette’s lives.
“While being interviewed for a documentary about Spock from Star Trek, Sheldon struggles to suppress his emotions about his recent break-up with Amy,” CBS says. “Also, Wolowitz and Bernadette butt heads over remodeling his childhood home.”
On last week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon and Leonard struggled to find liquid helium to prove their acclaimed theory, ultimately winding up in an unusual relationship with an illegal dealer. At the same time, Amy reluctantly revealed that she has begun dating again — and things are going well with a fellow called Dave.
Stephen Merchant (creator of The Office) will play Dave in “The Spock Resonance.” Casey Sander will reprise his role as Bernadette’s father, and both Adam Nimoy and Wil Wheaton will appear as themselves in tonight’s episode.
In the first sneak peek from The Big Bang Theory 9×07, Sheldon prepares himself to be interviewed by his idol’s son.
The second clip suggests that Sheldon’s interview will be… well, let’s just say, predictably Sheldon-y.
Bernadette and Howard come to the forefront in the last clip, in which Howard is clearly uncomfortable with change.
But the stills from tonight’s episode — featuring the famous Nimoy Napkin — make it clear that the change is unavoidable for all of our characters.
