The Amazing Race returns tonight with an all new season featuring 11 dating duo teams, some of which meet for the first time at the starting line.

For the first time The Amazing Race will be introducing a new twist with all dating duos, but only six of the couples will have been together before the show. Five single men will be paired up on blind dates that will last the entire length of the race.

A new reward called “Date Night” is also being introduced. If a team wins the new reward they will get a one-on-one romantic activity. The Amazing Race season 26 will head to Tokyo, Bangkok, Namibia, and Monaco!

The synopsis for ‘The Amazing Race’ season 26, episode 1, ‘Great Way to Start a Relationship,’ is:

“For the first time, The Amazing Race features 11 new teams of all dating duos: six who are preexisting couples, and five duos who meet for the first time at the starting line. Immediately, the couples face a difficult decision with a dreaded U-turn in the first leg, on the special 90-minute season premiere of The Amazing Race, Wednesday, Feb. 25 (9:30-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The Race travels to its regular time period on Friday, Feb. 27 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT). Phil Keoghan (@philkeoghan) is the host.”
