Tonight the remaining teams race to Monaco on The Amazing Race season 26, episode 6, “Smells Like a Million Bucks.”
On the last episode of The Amazing Race the teams flew to Germany where they took part in Oktoberfest. They had to dress in traditional lederhosen attire and locate their cars from a tower. Laura and Tyler made a big mistake when they decided to switch cars but left behind their fanny pack.
Kurt and Bergen had so much trouble with the manual transmission in their car that they decided to leave the car and take a taxi. This meant that they also had to skip out on the next challenge which involved driving backwards through a winter wonderland to solve a clue for the next location. A two hour penalty put them far behind the other teams.
Jeff and Jackie showed up at the winter wonderland and pretended to know nothing about Laura and Tyler’s fanny pack in their car. Laura was not happy to find it stuffer under the seat.
At the Detour each team had to figure out how to carry 22 steins all at once or partake in a crate stacking competition. Neither was easy, but Aly and Steve take a lead when they finish the stein challenge in one try.
At the Road Block the teams had to learn a traditional courtship song in order to receive their next clue. But if they sang poorly, they got a bucket of water in the face.
At the Pit Stop, Aly and Steve won first place. While Bergen and Kurt were eliminated after they failed to even reach the Pit Stop.
