Here’s our first look at The Amazing Race season 25 from the starting line in Times Square:

Each season The Amazing Race sends 11 teams in a race around the world. Each team has a pre-existing relationship such as parent/child, siblings, friends, or couples. Recently, The Amazing Race saw its first winning parent/child team in season 24 with David and Connor O’Leary.

Not only are the teams thrown into unfamiliar surroundings but they must also compete in challenges that test their minds and bodies. In order to find the next location of the race they must complete the tasks and try not to get in last place. Those that do find themselves at the end of the pack are eliminated at the finish line of each leg.

The first team to arrive at the final destination wins the ultimate prize of $1 million.

The Amazing Race season 25 will premiere in the fall and air on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
