Tonight on The Amazing Race season 25, episode 12, “All or Nothing,” the winner of the million dollar prize was revealed!
The last leg of The Amazing Race season 25 started right after the previous leg. For the first time four teams will race but one will be eliminated sometime before the finish.
Route Info
Brooke is not pleased when the Scientists show up at the airport. She’s worried that they could be beaten out in a challenge that requires brains. But the Dentists tell the others not to worry, as the Scientists are the weaker link. But we think Brook has a point; she and Robbie aren’t the brightest bunch.
All the teams jump on a flight and head to Los Angeles, California. Once they land, they have to use the voice command in their cars to listen to a clue. They must bring their filming permits in the manila folders to the Film LA clerk in City Hall.
Only the Surfers and Scientists find city hall without getting lost. Maya and Amy get there first and find out they have to go to the Southwest Marine Warehouse where they will hand over the film permit to receive the next clue. The Surfers are right behind them, and the Dentists show up shortly after. The Surfers stop and ask for directions from a fire station and Bethany gets recognized by one of the firefighters.
A long time later, Brooke and Robbie turn in their permit for the next clue.
Road Block
The teams must learn a stunt and play the role of an action hero, crashing through a window of a third level building. Maya decides to do it for her team but keeps hesitating during the practice, while Adam does great. The Dentists show up and Jim goes to practice.
When it comes to go time, Maya has no issues jumping through the window. Adam doesn’t have any problems either. But Maya does forget to change out of her gear before leaving and has to turn around, giving the Surfers a lead.
Jim was like a pro jumping out the window. He probably could have beat Amy and Maya out of the warehouse, but he didn’t think to open his messenger bag for the clue.
Eventually, Brooke and Robbie arrive at the Road Block, but Phil comes out with bad news. Unfortunately they didn’t make it in time and have been eliminated from the race. It’s actually pretty sad, since they were one of the most entertaining teams.
Search and Rescue
To get their next clue, the team must preform a search and rescue training exercise. Adam and Bethany are excited to get in the water. They’ve used snorkeling gear before so it was easy for them to navigate the waters.
The Scientists and Dentists make their way out as the Surfers head back in. Both teams struggle swimming with the weight of the dummy. They finish about the same time and jump in taxis.
Road Block
At Conglobal Industries the teams must find nine specific containers that correspond to cities they visited during the race. Once they have the numbers from the containers they will get their next clue. Whichever team member didn’t do the first Road Block has to do this one. That means that Bethany, Misti, and Amy are against each other.
Bethany’s strategy is to sing her numbers to memorize them. Amy finds her first and gets it correct on the first try. Bethany tries next but puts her numbers in the wrong order. Misti tries and also gets her numbers in the wrong order. Misti goes for a second try and gets it right. On her third try Bethany gets it correct.
Pit Stop
The final pit stop is at the Point Vincent Light House. Amy and Maya finish first and win The Amazing Race, only the third all female team to do so!
