Last night on The Amazing Race season 25, episode 11, “Hooping It Up,” the teams raced to make it to the finals. Read our recap to find out who got eliminated!

The teams start off the morning with rides in jeepneys (Maya’s favorite). Misti has a rough start with a deep cut in her foot from the last leg, but she’s not discouraged. The Dentists end up grabbing a jeepney with the Scientists. The Surfers grab their own and find out that the others are actually heading in the wrong direction. The Wrestlers also manage to grab a jeepney, heading in the correct direction.

Detour

The Surfers get to the Detour decision point first and find out it’s another “this or that” option. They end up choosing the closest option. In order to get the next clue they must play a game of two-on-two with a local basketball team.

It basically comes down to Adam on this Detour, and he does pretty well. They finish the Detour before anyone else starts.

The Wrestlers get to the Detour decision point but must complete their speed bump first. Their speed bump is to help a street vendor replace his broken padyak and transfer all his goods.

It only takes Brooke and Robbie a few minutes before they complete the speed bump, so they head off to do the Detour. At the same time, after talking about how awesome they are, the Scientists and Dentists realize that their jeepney’s are heading in the wrong direction.

The Wrestlers show up to play basketball just as the Surfers are leaving. Even though Brooke played growing up, she is a little rusty. But once she warms up, Brooke kills it and is unstoppable.

The Scientists and Dentists go to the other Detour where they must participate in a padyak race through the streets of Manila. Jim goes so fast he almost crashes while Maya takes a slow but steady method.

When they switch riders, Amy has a hard time steering and they crash into a parked car. But they get back up and start racing again. Misti was going so slow that Amy was still able to pass her.

Amy and Maya finish with just about two minutes left. Misti and Jim finish with about one minute left.

Road Block

As the Surfers head to Divisoria Market, they can’t find their clue. So when they get to the market they can’t remember the cross streets and have to just look around for the marked jeepney.

The Wrestlers get to the Road Block first and the clue tells them to pick up and deliver two popular coconut products. Robbie volunteers to do it but doesn’t grab the sheet telling him where to deliver the products. He realizes his mistake and heads back.

The Surfers finally find the clue and the jeepney at the same time as the Dentists. Both Adam and Jim don’t look for the locations either. Silly boys. Robbie gets to the first location but finds that he didn’t grab the correct number of products.

The Scientists get there and Amy actually looks at the locations before leaving. But then she has a hard time actually finding the street. The weight of the products and the heat of the city quickly get to her.

Robbie finishes first and gets the clue for the Pit Stop. Adam finishes second but he knows the Dentists are close behind them. Amy pulls through the Road Block but seems to be dehydrated and struggles not to pass out.

Pit Stop

Fort San Diego is the Pit Stop for the eleventh leg of the race. Brooke and Robbie come in first place and make The Amazing Race history by going from worst to first. But they also find out there’s a catch, for the first time the final leg starts immediately. They must fly to Los Angles right away.

Adam and Bethany come in second place, Misti and Jim come in third place. That means that Amy and Maya are the last team.

But first a medic checks Amy out and once she feels better they find out that they are NOT eliminated from the race. Four teams will compete in the last leg of the race, but Phil will eliminate one of the teams sometime during the final leg before the end of the race.

Are you excited to see four teams compete in the last leg of ‘The Amazing Race’?
