• Ships this week are lead by Clexa, Aaron and Eric, Caitlin and Ronnie, and more. Every week, ships, A.K.A. relationships, are highlighted on our favorite TV shows. Which were your favorite partners and pairings this week?

Did your favorite ship sail this week, did a new one launch, or did yours sadly sink? If you love shipping, you know the drama that shipping wars bring. Your ships don’t have to be canon for you to love them, and that’s half the fun.

Remember, if we didn’t include your favorite, give a suggestion to the writer who usually covers your fandom in the recap discussion or in the comments below.

    ‘Girls’ – All Aboard Adam & Mimi-Rose

    Passengers: Mimi-Rose & Adam Sackler

Sunset Cruise: A simple request to go for a jog turns the entire budding relationship upside down when Mimi-Rose reveals that she cannot exercise due to the abortion she had yesterday. Adam begins to question just how much Mimi-Rose needs him in a relationship versus what she is giving him.

Ship Status: There future doesn’t look too bright, very complicated waters where there are no simple navigation charts.

‘Looking’ – All Aboard Patrick & alcohol

    Passengers: Patrick & Alcohol

Sunset Cruise: Patrick decides to become a “fun gay” for Halloween and throws a party that combines three things -friends, ex lovers and their boyfriends, and alcohol. Patrick only hits it off with one of the three and it leads to a disastrous toast to everyone else’s happiness.

Ship Status: Love with an inanimate object that can’t love you back… yeah, this ship sprung holes while it was being built. It was leaking like a sieve in dry dock.

‘The Originals’ – All Aboard Jaiden

    Passengers: Josh and Aiden

Sunset Cruise: After Hayley and Jackson’s wedding ritual was complete, Aiden planted a big one on Josh, just to stake his claim on the young vampire. It’s really wonderful to see that no matter what the supernatural differences, these two are determined to make it work. They may have a tiff now and then, but we are more than excited to see where this ship goes from here.

Ship Status: Happy times on a cruise that’s just getting better and better.

On page 2: ‘Eye Candy,’ ‘Agent Carter,’ and ‘The Flash’

‘Eye Candy’ – All Aboard Tindy

    Passengers: Tommy & Lindy

Sunset Cruise: Lindy may be with Jake, but an undercover operation threw Tommy and Lindy together and gave us a glorious Tindy kiss.

Ship Status: We’re torn, straddling two vessels. It could get messy and end with everyone drowning. Look, we don’t mind Jake, but how could you not root for Tommy? Just look at that hair!

‘Agent Carter’ – All Aboard Peggy & Steve

Passengers: Peggy Carter & Steve Rogers

Sunset Cruise: A year or so after Captain America’s untimely “death” on the Valkyrie, Peggy finally has the chance to lay some part of Steve Rogers to rest. After all her ass-kicking work is done, Peggy walks over the Brooklyn Bridge and empties the last remaining sample of Steve’s blood into the river that borders his neighborhood. Alone, and dressed up as if for an elegant and somber funeral, Peggy tearfully says goodbye to her love and prepares to move on to the next stage of her life.

Ship Status: Even with a goodbye, this ship is still sailing in memory in Peggy’s heart. At least we know there’s a reunion… in like 50 years.

‘The Flash’ – All Aboard Snowstorm

Passengers: Caitlin Snow & Ronnie Raymond

Sunset Cruise: After over a year apart, Caitlin and Ronnie are finally reunited when Ronnie and Dr. Martin Stein successfully split their merged bodies. The two begin to catch up on the time apart but unfortunately are interrupted by the military’s interest in the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project, which merged Ronnie and Dr. Stein in the first place. The lovebirds had to bid farewell once again as Ronnie and Dr. Stein went on the run, but Caitlin was left with a sense of hope.

Ship Status: This one is patched up and ready to stand the oncoming storm.

On page 3: ‘Arrow,’ ‘The 100,’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’

    ‘Arrow’ – All Aboard Raylicity

Passengers: Felicity Smoak and Ray Palmer

Sunset Cruise: After Ray goes missing for a week to work non-stop on his superhero suit, Felicity finds him at home and forces him to take care of himself. A shave and a shower clearly do wonders for Ray, as his declaration of trust in Felicity leads them to fall into bed together.

Ship Status: We’re torn. We love Raylicity, but there’s a whole lot of chemistry on Olicity, despite the current state of that ship. So, we’re wondering if those two vessels may end up on a collision course in Starling City.

‘The 100’ – All Aboard Clexa

    Passengers: Clarke & Lexa

Sunset Cruise: The 100 made a huge statement this week by revealing their lead character Clarke (Eliza Taylor) to be bisexual, without any fuss or fanfare whatsoever. After she had pushed Lexa (Alycia Debnam Carey) to show her feelings, Lexa kissed her, and Clarke kissed her back, but then pulled away saying that she wasn’t ready to be with anyone yet.

Ship Status: So we realize that the Clexa/Bellarke shipper war has intensified. On the other hand, the show has now successfully eradicated gender, race and sexuality prejudices in its post-apocalyptic world (which is honestly starting to look pretty great, acid fog and mutant wildlife aside). Let’s see if this one keeps sailing because passengers are working on other upcoming shows where new ships will sail.

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ – All Aboard Merder

    Passengers: Meredith & Derrick

Sunset Cruise: Meredith did not get on the plane last week to visit her husband, choosing instead to treat herself to a weekend of R&R with a little alcohol.

Ship Status: Looks like there’s a bit of a rip in the side of the hull. Their relationship may not be in any immediate peril, but being afraid to see each other and judging the other’s enthusiasm can’t bode well for their cross country marriage. Stand by with the life preservers, we’re gonna need them.

On page 3: ‘The Walking Dead,’ and ‘Glee,’

‘The Walking Dead’ – All Aboard Aaron & Eric

    Passengers: Aaron & Eric

Sunset Cruise: Aaron standing up to alpha-male Rick by telling him he’d have to kill him to stop him from staying with Eric and a searing reunion kiss: oh yeah, this vessel is firing on all cylinders. We’re glad someone has found love in the zombie-filled world.

Ship Status: Bring us some water. The engine room is overheating… and in a good way. Now if they could just give Caryl a nudge.

‘Glee’ – All Aboard Spencer & Alistair

    Passengers: Spencer & Alistair

Sunset Cruise: Newbie jock Spencer, Glee’s self-dubbed “post-modern gay,” got his very own post-modern gay romance this week, as a large part of his plot revolved around his coy, adorable interest in redheaded indie-kid Alistair.

Ship Status: It was great to see the abrasive Spencer all smitten, and gone are the days of bullying, heartache and Big Controversial Moments. This couple’s plot was refreshingly normalized – just two people eventually deciding that they like each other, punctuated by a pretty hot kiss. Thanks to his new boyfriend, Alistair’s now a member of the New Directions, so hopefully we’ll see a bit more of this couple before Glee’s finale… and we are really hoping we are left to imagine this ship cruising on endlessly into the sunset! Maybe they’ll have their own Brittana moment in a few years.
