The CW has made the sneak peek available to watch on YouTube:

This clip could be the first, or a very early, scene in the episode. It shows Clarke (Eliza Taylor) trapped in her white cell, watched through “Cam 62.” They also somehow know her name.

Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” hangs in her cell. That’s probably the original, too.

Clarke notices that the cell across from hers, where she saw Monty (Christopher Larkin) in the season 1 finale, is now empty. A scary bio-suit wearing, Darth Vader-breathing mystery person appears in front of her door, then walks away (and we’re already imagining how convenient this disguise will be when/if Bellamy and Finn ever try to break in to save her).

Clarke, in an echo of her season 1 breakout attempt, gets crazy violent and smashes first the camera and then the door window. She gets a nasty cut on her arm, then rips off the sanitation worker’s mask and threatens the young girl (who has an iPod!) with a piece of glass. The girl is terrified of Clarke, but seems more terrified about being contaminated.

When Clarke asks where Monty is, the very pale girl says, “He’s fine, you don’t understand.” Has he been deemed radiation-free, then?

Clarke doesn’t need to understand; she makes the girl take her to where Monty allegedly is: level 5. We don’t see what’s up there, but from the pleasant sounds and soft lights, we’re guessing it’s somewhere much like the viewing deck up on the Ark.

Our guess? The Mountain Men are just like the people on the Ark, except rather than having been trapped in space, they’re trapped inside Mt. Weather until their scientists believe the earth is safe again.

A 4-minute featurette teasing season 2 has previously been made available in the U.S. iTunes Store. You can watch this video on SpoilerTV.

The 100 season 2, episode 1, “The 48,” airs Wednesday, October 22 at 9/8c. It’ll pick up where the season 1 finale left off, and we’ll find out exactly where Clarke and the others are being held captive.
