The 100 season 2 will be different from season 1 in many ways – including a makeover of its intro credits!

The 100 season 2 premiered last week, and returns tomorrow night with episode 2, “Inclement Weather.”

The first season of The 100 focused mainly on the delinquents’ survival on Earth while their parents struggled back on the Ark, but this year, almost everyone is on the ground.

The new intro credits were released by The Hollywood Reporter:

The season 1 credits were much shorter; they only showed the title of the show, looking like the Ark and breaking apart as we watched.

The new version is much longer, displaying each main actor’s name as a new section of forest or landscape is revealed. This is much more epic, and reflects the changing tone of the show. As the characters begin to explore the ground, the world of the show will expand, and we imagine they’ll have a lot of new adventures this year, which will take them to interesting new locations.

The Hollywood Reporter can also reveal that the opening credits, which will debut on TV tomorrow night with the new episode, will slightly change every week.

In season 2, episode 2, “Inclement Weather,” we’ll see Clarke (Eliza Taylor) continue her quest to escape Mount Weather. At Camp Jaha, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Finn (Thomas McDonell) are set on escaping to rescue Clarke and the others from the Grounders.

Meanwhile, Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is fighting for her life, as the bullet makes its way through her body. On the Ark, poor Jaha (Isaiah Washington) has to deal with the unexpected development of finding a baby on board.

The 100 season 2, episode 2 airs Wednesday night at 9/8c on The CW.
