The promotional stills for The 100 season 2, episode 9 reveal that Clarke will begin seeing visions of Finn as she struggles to cope with his death.
The 100 finally returns next week with season 2, episode 9, “Remember Me.”
The episode will reveal what happens after the dramatic midseason finale, in which Clarke killed Finn to spare him from the Grounders’ torturous execution.
An extended promo has already revealed Raven’s unfortunate fate: after a Grounder is poisoned, she’ll be accused of the murder, and strung up to be tortured.
But examining the promotional stills from the episode gives us another key piece of information, namely that Clarke will be seeing creepy visions of Finn as she attempts to move forward from what she did.
As Lexa tells her in the promo, “What you did will haunt you until the end of your days.” It seems the show is being quite literal in that regard.
Let’s take a look at the ghostly Finn, and how his appearance is affecting Clarke:
This is the second time we’ll see a deceased character appear in front of their loved one. In the first couple of season 2 episodes, Jaha’s visions of Wells helped him find his way to the Ground, and there seemed to be some spiritual significance to Wells’ appearance.
This time it seems pretty obvious that Clarke’s guilt-ridden mind is conjuring Finn up as a reminder of the fact that she killed him. (It’s probably too much to hope for that Finn will eventually be resurrected by The Powers That Be, Angel-style.)
In a way it’s nice to know that Clarke will begin to unravel a bit, since it would be pretty unrealistic for her to just move on as if nothing happened. But we hope she manages to make her way through this, because the group desperately needs her strength and determination.

“THE GHOST IN YOU — Clarke (Eliza Taylor) strikes a deal with Lexa (guest star Alycia Debnam Carey) and Indra (guest star Adina Porter). Abby (Paige Turco) and Kane (Henry Ian Cusick) begin to realize that decision making powers are out of their hands. A seething Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is unable to control her emotions. A bold move threatens to destroy the newly formed alliance between the sky people and the Grounders, and a familiar face haunts Clarke. Meanwhile, back at Mount Weather, Monty (Christopher Larkin) comes up with a risky plan.”
